The Little Fan

Young children line up to catch a glimpse of their favorite baseball players and hope to snag a coveted autograph. This figure of a small boy expresses that look of admiration as he holds out his baseball to be signed by a revered player. Of the many sculptures I have created honoring athletes, it is the veneration of children and their awe of athletes that motivated this piece and continues to serve as an inspiration.
