A woman and child share a tender moment while reading together. The sculpture is a tribute to the passage of literature from one generation to another. There are bronze “books” that are a part of the installation bearing the names of famous authors from Hingham, Massachusetts. The sculpture is located at the entrance to the Hingham Public Library.
